Nutrisystem Week 27 Check In

I'm so happy to be able to say another week down and another pound down! I've been doing great with my eating habits and hopefully am over the hump/slump I was in for a little bit. Did great all week eating correctly (except my birthday when I snuck in a treat) and it is showing.

I'm sure some people don't feel like a pound in a week is a huge deal, but realistically on Nutrisystem you can expect an average of 1-2 pounds per week. It's a healthy lifestyle change, not a crash diet. With a healthy lifestyle change you are teaching your body to be healthier and more likely to keep the weight off. With a crash diet you might lose a bunch of weight up front, but most likely it's going to come right back as soon as you quit (seriously, I've been there--you can only drink those magic milkshakes for so long and you don't learn anything about being healthy in the meantime)

I'm happy to say the scale had me at 168 this morning and that my size 10 jeans are to the point where I need a belt! (I was a tight 16 when I started 27 weeks ago). I promise next week to make sure to get inch measurement to see how many I've lost so far.

*Another first for me, I ordered the Nutrisystem Granola cereal and liked it! I've never eaten granola because it always just seemed like it would taste bleh.
