Ozeri Tungsten Ring Review & Giveaway

You may remember that just recently I did a review on the Ozeri Artesio Electric Pepper Grinder and loved it so much. I have been lucky enough to receive a second item to review from Ozeri and am just as excited about this one.

First, let me recap a little about the company behind the products:
Ozeri is a manufacturer of digital lifestyle products for the modern home. They originally began as a supplier to the vacation residences in the destination club industry and their products can be found anywhere from luxury European getaways to time shares, condos and upscale hotels here in the US. Recently you can find them in the consumer market place.

They boast award winning designs, innovative materials and durable construction for long product satisfaction. And while there products can be found in upscale, 5 star residences, they can also be found in everyday home like mine, because their products are very reasonably priced.

Not only do they make fabulous items for the home, but they also have a Luxury forever category where they introduce us to two of their most popular Tungsten Carbide rings.  Tungsten Carbide rings are completely cobalt free and rank second only to diamonds as the hardest substance in the world.

The Tungsten Ring have a high polished, center brushed and beveled edge design. The are designed to forever keep their glossy shine and make fabulous wedding bands or even a great unisex accessory.

Hubs and I aren't real traditional people (shocking, I'm sure). We had three days off in between finishing our old job and starting a new company. We went to Niagara Falls and came home married. We didn't have much (read any) money then and only picked up a simple wedding band for me. Down the road several years and I got a diamond. Somehow though Hubs never ended up with a band, even though I frequently thought about getting him one, something else always came up.

When I had the chance to review the Tungsten Carbide Ring I knew it was for him. It's different, just like we are yet beautiful. He has been wearing it for about a month, even to work which I didn't think would last, but it's so comfortable that he doesn't mind plus it doesn't heat up like a metal ring would.  I'm very impressed that it still is as shiny as the day I gave it to him, nor does it have any dings or scratches and as a Chef he works with his hands all day. I would highly recommend these rings to anyone looking to give a gift that will last forever or as a wedding band.

BUY IT: You can purchase this particular ring in sizes 8 thru 11 on Amazon. Normal retail price is $99, Amazon normally lists them for $59.99 but right now they are on sale for only $25!

Win It: One reader will win the same ring I reviewed above. Please us the rafflecopter form below to enter. Must be 18+, US only.

Breathe Right Advanced Nasal Strips Review

Breathe Right Advanced Nasal Strips are formatted with the latest innovations to help relieve your nighttime congestion and to help reduce snoring. It is specially designed to work with your nose, the four point technology works on key touch points to open your nose more completely, while the special adhesive holds the strip comfortably in place.

I had tried Breath Right strips in the past and while they helped a little, they didn't seem to do a great job as the night wore on, the adhesive wouldn't stick good or they seemed to lose some of there strength. I have been using the advanced strips for about a week now and really am much happier with these. I don't know if they are stronger or it is the 4-point technology that has changed them, but I breathe much easier for longer periods of time.

I also appreciate the fact that they are drug free and don't interact with the allergy medications I already take. That is a definite bonus in getting my husband to use them also, he's nuts about taking medications and always has some reason not to. So if he is stuffy I can easily get him to put on a Breathe Right Advanced Nasal Strip. Sometimes if he is not leaving the house he will even wear one in the afternoon.

Breathe Right Advanced Nasal Strips can be purchased in most grocery, department stores and drugstores nationwide. Sold in packs of 2, 10 and 26 count packages.

COOL WHIP: Everyday Desserts, What You Add Makes It #coolwhipmoms

I consider myself to be a pretty darn good cook, and really enjoy making food for people. I enjoy when others enjoy what I have created. Unfortunately I am not a recipe follower-- I learn to cook something once then tend to just do my own thing. This does not translate into a great baker. My holiday cookies are dismal for the most part. Apparently when baking, you need to follow the recipe specifically, other wise stuff does NOT turn out yummy. Who knew?

Spring and Summer are here (sort of) though and I am good at desserts that I can make with "COOL WHIP Whipped Topping". I always get a special smile or grin when I whip out the COOL WHIP to add to a regular dessert and I have several that I do enjoy making, mostly because I can go from memory!

A couple of the tried and true ones that take me right back to my childhood have stood the test of time and are always a hit at summer gatherings. I thought I would share them and see if they are universal or if maybe someone has some new ones that they would love to share with me. Heh, I have no clue the official names so bare with me!

COOL WHIP Cake
One box of white cake mix.
One box of Jello
One tub of COOL WHIP

Bake cake according to directions (in a 9x13 baking dish). Make Jello (your favorite flavor or several flavors) do not let it set, try to time it so that it coincides with the cake coming from the oven.
Pull cake from oven and while still warm poke holes in the top with a fork. Pour Jello into holes. Let cool then top with COOL WHIP for the "frosting"

We really like this because it's moist and yet light, it doesn't sit heavy in your stomach.

Pretzel Jello Salad with Strawberries. 'Nough said. If you don't know what this is, I will cry for you.

Another favorite of ours is something I call a Lemon Pudding Pie.
Ready to go in fridge!
I have no idea where I learned to make it, but it is super easy!
Ingredients:
1 8oz Tub of Cool Whip
1 box of cream cheese
1 large box of Lemon Instant Pudding
2 Tsp of sugar
2 T of milk
2 pre made graham cracker crusts.

Soften the cream cheese, mix in sugar, milk and about half the COOL WHIP. Wisk it all together till it is well blended. Spread into the two graham crusts. Set aside. Make your pudding, ask it starts to thicken, pour it over the cream cheese COOL WHIP mixture. Place in the fridge to let everything set up.

When serving add COOL WHIP topping.

You can of course use your own favorite flavor of pudding, we like lemon because it just seems to feel and taste like summer!

Yum! Needs more COOL WHIP!
Who stole a slice?
I had to threaten to break fingers to keep everyone out of this dessert until I could get a picture!

Unique Storage Unit Uses!

When people think about storage, they probably think about that one show with the guy that yells “Yuuuuuuup!” Auctions aren’t the only things that happen at storage facilities. Everyday people go there to store their things for various reasons. Here are some ways you can use your storage unit.

Wine Storage. Many people use storage units to store their wine. If you plan on doing so, make sure you consider a few factors. Double check if your storage unit is pitch-dark as wine does not bode well with sunlight. Don’t store it with items that have an overpowering smell as it might affect your wine. Most importantly, you may want to find a climate-controlled unit. Having the ability to adjust the temperature of your storage unit is imperative when storing wine.

A room full of gifts! This strange idea stemmed from an episode of “The Big C.” The premise of this show, for those that do not know about it, follows a woman who tries to live her life with cancer. In the season finale, she rents a storage unit and fills it with gifts for her son for his birthdays. Her son finds the keys to the storage unit and uncovers a room full of gifts. Heartbreaking scene aside, you can also do this for your loved one. Ask your guests to bring their gifts in advanced, and when it’s time to open gifts, give your loved one keys to the storage unit. Make it a trip and watch their reaction as they see a room full of gifts! Of course, this idea is not for everyone.

Coming back home for the summer. As the school year begins to wind down, many college students are looking for storage for the summer. Make sure to book a unit fast as the summer is very busy for storage facilities. Make sure to tell your college student to assess their belongings, so that you can reserve a properly sized unit. The great thing about storage units is that they are only a month-to-month obligation, so there is no need to worry about a yearly contract.
Need help looking for a storage unit? Use SpareFoot.com to look for one!

ProXeed Plus Review & Giveaway

I am pretty open on my blog about the fact that my husband I have been unable to conceive. At first I felt really alone, but in opening up online, I have discovered that infertility affects many more people than I would have ever guessed. I have also learned that there are different levels of infertility.

One of those levels is called "subfertility" and if actually affects 20 - 30% of couples. Subfertility basically means that if has taken a couple longer than average and they still have not conceived. Typically women are the first to seek help and be examined by a doctor, when in reality about half the time the problem lies with the male partner. In about 40% of subfertile couples the problem lies with the sperm quality of the male partner.

Several years ago I was looking into this issue and basically found that you could improve sperm quality but it took a cocktail of vitamins and supplements that are a bit overwhelming--also this was me searching the internet, not a professional analysis. Now, thanks to ProXeed Plus, improving sperm quality is possible.

ProXeed Plus is a clinically-supported nutritional supplement developed to help improve the health and quality of sperm. Two packets a day (one in the morning and one in the evening) taken over the course of six months, may enhance sperm count, motility, concentration and speed which could aid in the chances of conception. Results can be seen in as little as three months, but not before as it takes about 74 days for new sperm to mature and another 20 for them to be capable of conception.

To sum up the ProXeed facts:
-- It comes in a convenient packet, in powder form which can be mixed with at least 4 oz of water or other beverage.
-- Contains added nutrients targeted at reducing oxidative damage and supporting the formation and maturation of sperm
-- Has a light lemon flavor
-- Only 12 calories

For more information or to order visit proxeed.com. A one month supply (two 30 count boxes) is $125. If you have been around the world of fertility treatments, as I have, you will know that that price pales in comparison to other treatments or aids you might try. If you buy a 3 month supply the price per box drops to $118 and a 6 month supply the price per box drops to $112.50.

We did receive a 30 count box to try and I am very excited about it. My husband hated taking a handful of pills, they bothered his stomach, some left a horrible aftertaste and eventually we both go tired of me nagging him. The packets are great. 4 ounces of water is really nothing, 2 gulps at most. If the very faint lemon taste bothers him, he can dump it in his juice. I just leave a packet out on the counter for him every morning (seriously, the man would forget his head if it wasn't screwed on) and he takes another one at night after he comes home from work.

I really can't tell you that they work--for the purposes of the posting the review and getting the facts out to my readers, I can't really wait 3 to 6 months! Rest assured, if we do end up pregnant, you readers and ProXeed will be the second to know! Since he has been taking it and has no side effects we do plan to continue it and see where it leads.

One of my readers can win a 30 count box of ProXeed Plus to help them on their fertility journey. Please use the rafflecopter form below to enter. While this product can be purchased internationally, the giveaway will be limited to US & CA, 18+. Due to the fact that not everyone is as open too talking about sperm count and infertility as I am, I am making the entries as general as possible.

Flicka: Country Pride Giveaway

Best Human/Animal Pairings in Film

Arriving on Blu-ray and DVD May 1
Exclusively at Walmart, Sam’s Club® and Walmart.com

Many films focus on the unlikely bond that forms between man and beast. From Jesse and Willy from Free Willy to Hiccup and Toothless in How to Train Your Dragon, we’ll examine five of our favorite animal and human friendships in the films of yesterday and today.

When Toby (Clint Black) takes on a job at a stable with Flicka in tow, the owner’s teenage daughter Kelly (Kacey Rohl), quickly bonds with the wild horse. A budding equestrian rider, she hopes to break Flicka for an upcoming competition, despite her mother’s (Lisa Hartman Black) disapproval. With the competition approaching, a rival trainer stealing business, and a growing fear they may be forced to sell the stable, Toby steps in to turn things around for Kelly and her mother.

Enter at the bottom of this feature to win a copy of Flicka: Country Pride on DVD!

Free Willy

In 1993’s Free Willy, 12 year-old Jesse is forced to work at a theme park as restitution for vandalizing it. There, he meets and befriends Willy, a captive orca whale. Because Willy responds to Jesse’s commands, he earns a job at the park working with the orca. Jesse eventually learns that the park’s management has plans to kill Willy in order to collect the $1 million insurance policy on him. In one of film’s most iconic moments, Jesse guides Willy up and over a rock wall to freedom, where he returns to his family in the wild.

Andre

The 1994 film Andre tells the story of a young girl named Toni Whitney (Tina Majorino) who adopts an orphaned baby seal in 1962 coastal Maine. Toni and Andre form an inseparable bond, but as Andre grows, he becomes harder to manage and care for in the Whitney’s home. Andre’s mischievous attitude and his antics also make the local fisherman dislike him, and Toni goes to great lengths to keep Andre out of harm’s way, even putting herself in dangerous situations to protect him.

Dr. Doolittle

Eddie Murphy stars as the title character in 1998’s Dr. Doolittle, a film about a doctor who realizes he has the unique ability to understand and talk to animals. Dr. Doolittle befriends a dog called Lucky who helps him realize his true calling as someone who was meant to help animals in need. Dr. Doolittle and Lucky are able to work together to save a tiger, which helps Dr. Doolittle realize that he should be both a human doctor and a veterinarian.
How to Train Your Dragon

2010’s computer-animated film, How to Train Your Dragon, tells the story of Hiccup, a young Viking teenager, who aspires to be a dragon slayer like his father. After capturing his first dragon, he realizes he doesn’t want to kill it and instead befriends it. Hiccup names the dragon Toothless, and they form an unlikely friendship. Hiccup tries to show his village the true nature of the dragons – that they are actually not cruel – and, eventually, is able to convince the Vikings and dragons to work together.

Mr. Popper’s Penguins

In 2011’s Mr. Popper’s Penguins, the uptight businessman, Mr. Popper (Jim Carrey), is given six penguins after his father’s death. He plans to give them away, until he discovers that his children love them. Popper soon grows to love the penguins as well, and a friendship develops between them. After the penguins lay three eggs and only two of them hatch, Mr. Popper becomes obsessed with the un-hatched egg. When he can’t save it, he gives all of the penguins to the zoo, but soon realizes that was a mistake. He then steals the penguins back and is reunited with his feathered friends.

Phone Fetcher, Review & Giveaway

Busy mom, Madelyn hated all the time she spent looking for her cell phone everyday and realized there had to be a better way to keep track of it. Tired of digging through her purse trying to find her phone only to miss a call or getting somewhere only to realize she left if behind, she came up with the idea of the PhoneFetcher.

The PhoneFetcher is a nifty little gadget that can attach to a purse, back pack, gym bag, baby bag, belt loop or whatever else you can think of. It has a claw type clip on one end and the other end is a little nub that slides into the earphone jack of your phone, iPod or mp3 player. They are connected to each other with a stretchable bungee cord, making it easy to use your phone without even having to to disconnect it. Of course you can easily remove it from your phone just like you would a set of ear buds.

I received a PhoneFetcher in black to try out. Sorry to tell you this but my husband swiped it. Seriously. He is always worried about his phone sliding out of his chef pants and has even lost if several times (luckily he managed to find it before I murdered him). With the PhoneFetcher he hooks one end to his belt loop and then never worries about the phone sliding out of his pants pocket while he is working, if it does he notices pretty quick that it's hanging there! It is very durable and will probably last him longer than his phone will, plus it will be easy enough to rinse it off to keep it clean.

I can think of several ways it would come in handy (looks like I'm going to have to buy myself one!)
Summer is coming and I don't always carry my purse with me, I'd love to have a PhoneFetcher for when I walk the dogs, go to the park or to attach to my pool bag when I go swimming! Plus they make one for keys (claws on both ends) and that's something I need desperately-- I NEVER know where my keys are!

The PhoneFetcher currently comes in 8 fun colors (coming soon: Silver Chain PhoneFetchers!)
This would make a fabulous gift (Mothers Day AND Fathers Day are coming up, plus think ahead and grab some stocking stuffers for Christmas!)

Buy It: You can purchase one or one in every color at PhoneFetcher.com for $9.99.

Win It: One lucky reader will win a PhoneFetcher of their own. Please use the RafleCopter form below to enter.

Sibu Toner, Mask & Skin Exfoliating Scrub, Review & Giveaway

Sibu Beauty is a leader in the industry of premium skin care products. They manufacture theirs from the prized Himalayan Sea Buckthorn Berry harvested from the Tibetan Himalayas (12,000 ft above sea level). Sea Buckthorn is the fundamental ingredient in all of the Sibu products.

The Sea Buckthorn is a hardy little berry that has been use for more than 1300 years to treat an array of health issues. This amazing little berry contains over 190 bio active compounds AND Omegas 3, 6 and 9. Even more it is a rich source of the elusive fatty acid; Omega 7-- which is essential for the production of collagen for healthy skin, nails and hair.

Back when I first started blogging I was entering giveaways quite a bit and won a bottle of Sibu Repair and Protect Cream. That was about two years ago now and I can say honestly say that after trying that bottle that I won, I have gone on to purchase a bottle every time I run low. I have been able to try quite a few products in those two years but hands down, I love it for my morning face routine! How's that for a testimonial?

When I recently got the chance to try the new line up I was just about giddy waiting for them to come in the mail. I received a Clarifying Toner, Purifying Mask and Exfoliating Scrub to review.

- Sibu Purifying Mask combines a toxin absorbing base with activating enzymes that help to gently remove dead skin and debris, leaving behind clean, youthful skin.
I love doing masks on my face, but my face doesn't always love some of the masks I have tried. I have sensitive combination skin that manages to be dry and oily and the same time and also will burn with some products.  I can happily say that the Sibu mask did not cause me to get that horrible burning feeling. The mask has a light citrus scent (the products always smell vaguely orangish to me) and is very slightly gritty. I just apply a thin layer to my face and wait for it to turn dull so I know it has dried (about ten minutes depending how thick of a layer) then gently wash off with water. My face feels fresh and renewed. Retail price $29.95

- Sibu Clarifying Toner is a new refreshing solution to help eliminate excess toxins and residue from the skin. Helps to minimize pores, clarifies, reconditions and hydrates skin.
I find that the several times I have tried to use a toner it has left my skin feeling light the Sahara desert. Plus, I'm lazy. I hate having to dig out the cotton balls to use toner (what? my time is at a premium and it's a pain!) I love that you just close your eyes and a couple pumps of the sprayer leaves a refreshing mist on your face. Since it is also hydrating I get that extra surge of moisture. Normally I give up after a couple days but I have been using the toner religiously since I tried it. Don't worry, if you aren't as lazy as I am, you can get out the cotton balls and apply the old fashioned way!  After a little experimentation I have found that I can even spray it on TOP of my make up for a mid day pick me up! Retail Price $24.95

 - Sibu Exfoliating Scrub is a gently, yet effective blend that is ideal for people with oily skin clogged pores. It is creamy with large grit. Even though the grit is fairly decent sized, I still found this to be a big gentler than exfoliators you find at the drugstore. It also has the light, refreshing citrus scent. For myself I find that using this once a week on my face, neck and chest is sufficient to keep my pores unclogged. However if your skin is quite greasy or if you have problems with breakouts, you could use it more often. I think it is going to come in handy during those "monthly" breakouts and when I get those summer sweat breakouts. *do not use the same day as the Purifying Scrub. Retail Price $19.95

I also received a little sample of the Sibu Omega Chocolates, individually wrapped pieces of heaven. So creamy and with a faint orange flavor, these could rival any gourmet chocolate yet contain 250mg of Omega 7 oil in each one. Getting healthy never tasted so good!

Visit Sibu online to learn more about the entire line of products

Right now you can get 15% off the new products I reviewed by entering the code NEWSIBU15 at checkout.

Win It: One reader is going to win a Clarifying Toner, Purifying Mask and Exfoliating Scrub (if you're lucky maybe they will throw in a chocolate or two!) This is a $74.85 value! Please use the RaffleCopter form below to enter.

NMEDA & National Mobility Awareness Month

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of NMEDA for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I did not realize until just recently that May is National Mobility Awareness Month. The purpose behind National Mobility Awareness Month is to bring attention to the fact that people with disabilities can lead an active, productive and mobile life.

The national disabilities spokesperson, Mike Savicki, is encouraging people to speak out and submit their stories or stories of people you think deserve to be recognized as a local hero to be showcased by national and local media.

NMEDA will showcase these stories on their Facebook, Blog and website. Stories about regular people who become local heros by fighting to overcome their disabilities and live an active, mobile lifestyle. Whether you are a local hero and submit your own story or a family or friend does, encourage everyone to vote for them at National Mobility Awareness Month ! They could win one of the custom Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAV). A minimum of three will be awarded on national television.

On of the goals of National Mobility Awareness Month is to educate the public. In the US & CA alone, over 18 million people (that is a staggering number) have mobility issues and about 6 million of those are veterans.  I also never would have guessed that people with disabilities are the second largest minority in the US.

NMEDA is one of the sponsors of National Mobility Awareness Month along with BraaunAbilit, WMI/Vantage Mobility, Bruno Independent Living Aids, Toyota Chrysler and SanTan Honda Superstore in Chandler, AZ.

So if you know a local hero who could benefit from winning a WAV make sure to nominate them and get your family and friends to vote! Not sure what constitutes a local hero? A local hero is anyone in your community -caregiver, veteran or person dealing with disabilities who is trying their best to lead an active lifestyle and dealing with overcoming mobility challenges.

Scott's Liquid Gold - Clean Screen - Review & Giveaway

Practically all areas of my life involve one form of electronic device or another: I spend 80% of my day at work on a computer (the other 20% I'm hiding under my desk). As a blogger I spend half my night on my laptop. As a dork I spend an inordinate amount of time playing on my iPhone or reading books on my iPad. My husband has a big ole' TV he would go insane without. The problem is keeping each of these electronics clean. I absolutely loathe fingerprints and have been know to attack coworkers with a stapler if they dare to touch my screen. Ear prints and makeup on my iPhone cause minor apoplexy. So obviously it was a no brainer when asked if I would like to review Scott's Liquid Gold Clean Screen.

I'm thrilled to find something that is very effective at cleaning my numerous devices and even happier that it is so economical. A little goes a very long way and I know this bottle will last even my obsessive habits quite awhile.

The box itself contains a 6.5oz spray bottle of Clean Screen and a very soft microfiber cloth. Clean Screen is formulated using Reverse Osmosis (RO) Solution state of the art water treatment technology. Translated to blogger speak that means: RO technology pulls mineral deposits and other impurities smaller than water molecules out. This leaves nothing behind to get in the way of a crystal clear Clean Screen. Unlike many other screen cleaners on the market, Clean Screen contains no alcohol or ammonia (I always hated that smell!)

You spray the solution onto the super soft suede microfiber cloth that is included and wipe down your device. The cloth leaves behind no lint or fuzzies like some other ones do (and isn't that almost worse than before you cleaned when it happens!). It is also highly absorbent and quick drying and will not scratch your delicate surfaces.

I'm mostly in heaven since I got Clean Screen-- except when my husband is trying to steal it for his stuff! I hit the laptop first and was so excited by how clear and shiny it came out I went right to my iPad and iPhone. I can honestly say my iPhone hadn't looked that pretty since the day I removed that original protective plastic! One spray is plenty for small surfaces and 2-4 are good for larger. If the cloth becomes dirty, simply rinse in warm water and allow to dry.

Connect with Clean Screen:

Buy It: You can find Clean Screen in the household cleaning aisle of most major retailers or you can purchase online at http://www.scottsliquidgold.com/clean-screen/products.html

Win It: I am happy to announce that Scott's Liquid Gold is going to give one of my readers a "Spring Cleaning Kit" which contains (1) Original SLG Aerosol (1) Wood Wash (1) Wood Wipes (1) Clean Screen. I wish I could enter my own giveaways! Open to US and Canada.

Face Case Review & Giveaway.

I've blogged about all different types of make up and how addicted I am to it. I have never blogged about what a wreck my make up is. I have some it on the cabinet door in magnetic holders, some stacked up on the shelf, some brushes and eyeliners in coffee cups and the rest in a tackle box kind of thing were half the stuff gets pushed to the bottom and either I can't find it or I forget I have it.
Not the ideal set up for a gal who can barely open her eyes in the morning. This is where Face Case comes in.

Face Case was created by Ms. Sonja Tiencken Byrd-- a southern Belle through and through-- who believes in the feminine tradition of make up but also believed there had to be a better way to carry it around than a zippered bag. Long story short (you can read the details here) she invented the Face Case and through word of mouth eventually couldn't keep up with the demand. She enlisted her niece Bonnie and in 2011 Face Case became an official company.

Now you are wondering what, exactly, is Face Case? Besides awesome? Okay, I'll tell you. Face Case is the most unique cosmetic bag on the market. I have literally never seen anything like it. The Face Case bags are made from a patterned cloth on the outside and reinforced with a black material on the inside. There are various patterns you can choose from and all are striking. The inside of the bag has numerous pockets circling the perimeter which creates a large center area. You can put lipsticks, brushes, eyeliners, mascaras, primers or whatever. The middle will fit your larger eyeshadow pallets and miscellaneous items. It all cinches up with a cord and will sit prettily on a vanity, dresser or even fit in a suitcase. Everything is right in your field of vision, you never forget you have something because it gets buried and did I mention it's pretty? and functional?

I've been using mine for about two weeks and can't imagine living with out it. I have actually now have and extra shelf because all my make up fits in here. I've organized it with the products I use first in a clockwise pattern and it saves my brain dead self a ton of time in the morning. Plus I am so excited for my next trip, instead of trying to sneak makeup into the suit case with out my husband asking why I need so much, I can bring pretty much everything and take up hardly any room.

I honestly cannot tell you how much I love this product and cannot imagine going back to the old mess and disorganization.

Buy It: You can purchase your own Face Case (or three!) online at  http://myfacecasestore.com/shop.html for $29.99

Win It: The amazing ladies at Face Case have provided me with four extra Face Cases to give away to my readers.

*Scotts® Snap® Spreader System

This post brought to you by Scotts®. All opinions are 100% mine.

I never much thought about my grass being a plant. It's just there right? Until it isn't there, oops! Guess I should have been feeding that plant! Especially since the hubs has been digging a giant hole so that we can install a cement pad, then running the wheel barrel all over the rest of lawn. It's looking pretty shabby right now.

That's why we definitely need to use  this Scotts® Snap® Spreader System spring! The Scotts Snap Spreader System cuts the guesswork out of how to feed your lawn. You simply have to Snap, Lock and Go, which is great for someone like me who doesn't have a clue, nor alot (read ANY)  of spare time on my hands.

Scotts Snap Spreader system is different from other systems:

  • No mess, no guess spreader system
  • The Snap Pac connects directly to the Snap Spreader-- this means no cutting, no opening, and no trying to wrangle a heavy bag (which I would ultimately end up spilling all over the place!)
  • The system actually auto-sets the proper flow rate, so you don't have to figure it out!
  • Scotts Snap Spreader has a unique EdgeGuard that keeps the procuct on the lawn and not all over the drive or sidewalk!
  • When finished the Snap Pac self-seals upon removal, so no more half empty bags spilling in your shed or garage.

The Scotts Snap perks on Facebook  started in March, make sure to visit and "like" them so you can be the first to know about prizes, contests and promotions

GourmetGiftBaskets.com Review & Giveaway

GourmetGiftBaskets.com makes and sells a wide variety gift baskets for just about any gift giving occasion you can think of. However, are you aware that they also have all sorts of mouthwatering baked treats too? Well they sure do! they carry a wide variety including whoopie pies, brownies, cakes, cookies, and cheesecakes.

I was crazy excited to asked to review the decadent Brownie Sampler. The Brownie Sampler includes 2 of each of the following scrumptious flavors:
-Belgian Chocolate Chunk
-White Chocolate Macadamia Blondie
-Butterscotch Blondie
-Cheesecake
-Peanut Butter
-Fudge Walnut

For my review I received a small sampler, which is one of each flavor.
I was very happy to see that each brownie comes individually wrapped, so you don't have to worry about them going stale. No need to ruin your diet by snarfing them all down real quickly, they won't go bad in two days! These aren't little tiny brownies either, you could even split it with a husband or save some for later.  I was a good girl and cut them up for Easter and we all tried them for dessert. They were all fantastic but my favorites were the Peanut Butter (you can't go wrong with peanut butter and chocolate!) and the Cheesecake! They were all rich, moist and delicious!

Buy it: Get one for yourself or send one to a loved one. Order a Brownie Sampler online for $34.99

Win it: Gourmet Gift Baskets is going to give one of my readers the same brownie sampler I received. (one of each flavor) Please use the rafflecopter form to enter.
