Split-Ender Review & Giveaway

We've all watched those infomercials at one time or another, right? I totally fess up to it, sometimes it's a middle of the night thing and sometimes I'm innocently sitting in the doctors office and WHAM. I'm sucked in. I'll even admit to trying some infomercial products, some of which turn out fabulous and some I'd rather not talk about.  One of those items I'd been eyeing is the Split-Ender.

Free Bonus Kit Includes
Base Stand
Cleaning Brush
4 in 1 styling comb
Quick Style Clip
Metal Pressing Handle
Miracle Silk

My curly hair always has split ends, probably because I'm a tad bit brutal with it. I hate going to the hair dresser to get a cut because I swear my definition of an inch is obviously not the same as the chick at Great Cuts.

I eagerly placed my AA batteries in and set to work (only after reading all the instructions and watching a video--of course). I'll give you the brief run down. Clean, dry hair that has been combed free of tangles. Separate into 1" sections (they need to be thin sections), If you do not, the Split-Ender will not work properly.  Place the hair between the plates and run the in a downward motion. The Split-Ender is so amazing because it ONLY picks up split ends and doesn't not shorten healthy hair.

Here are two sections of my hair, the left pictures are before and the right are after. One swipe! Below is a picture of the "hair catcher" part of the Split-Ender. Proof that it works AND you won't have to clean a bunch of tiny hairs from everywhere! For best results, use every 4-6 weeks.
I am very happy with this product and will continue to use it. I do have two suggestions for users. If you have thick hair, this is going to take you awhile, make sure you have a block of time to do it. If you have curly hair like I do and occasionally straighten it, it is actually much easier to use the Split-Ender while your hair is straight..

I also was able to try out their Miracle Silk. Super easy too use, just smooth one capsule through clean hair and immediately see the results: softer,  silkier locks.

This looks like it would be nice to have since I rarely take time for myself to head to the salon ;)
