Brownie Brittle is to die for. (sorry ever since my first bite I just needed to say that). Created by Sheila G. Mains (better known as Sheila G), who way back in 1992 took a treasured family recipe and began baking her way into brownie famedom (is that a word?). Her rich, dense, chocolaty brownies have been served in some amusement parks and some of the finest restaurants across the country. Sheila however, was particularly fond of the crispy edges and wondered how she could go about making a whole pan of crispy edges. I'm personally not sure how she did it, but she did.

Brownie Brittle comes in 4 oz resealable bags and a variety of three delicious flavors: Toffee Crunch, Chocolate Chip and traditional Walnut. Each bag contains 4 generous size servings.

I can honestly say I had never heard of this product before I tried it, so was quite curious. Now you all know that I've been dieting and I really don't want to screw up the fantastic progress I've made, so one of the first things I did was check out the nutritional information. A serving size is 6 pieces (and you will see in the photograph below, they are very nice sized pieces!) and contains only 120 calories, 35 of which are from fat. I figured this was safe to fit into my diet, plus I didn't want to let my readers down.

All I could say after my first bite was OH. EMM. GEE. Holy smokes people, these babies are fabulous and perfect for satisfying that late day sweet tooth or serious chocolate craving. The toffee is by far my favorite, with the brownie chocolate and the sweet toffee flavor you can't go wrong. I'm hiding this bag for personal emergencies. Chocolate chips has rich dark chocolate chips you can see throughout and is a chocolate lovers dream. The Walnut I am allowing the husband to have since I don't like nuts in my brownies (I know, I'm strange).

Honestly, this is the perfect gift for just about anyone on your list. Heck, by a case of it and give a bag to everyone. Trust me, they WILL thank you.
