Comfort Zone® with D.A.P.® Review

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Comfort Zone® products for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Four dogs in this house. FOUR. They all have different personalities and get stressed over different things. Some are bothered by traveling, some are nervous around the holidays when we move furniture, put out decorations, have company and most of all my little girl suffers from seperation stress when I leave her at home.

The seperation stress for Roxi seems to have become more pronounced with age. She is 12 year old 6lb yorkie, yet she is able to tear down pet gates, she's eaten through a door and somehow manages to find things to shred. Not to mention I know it isn't healthy for her to be so stressed all day while I'm at work. So when I heard about Comfort Zone® with D.A.P.®, I may have actually begged to be permitted to try it!

Here are some of the details:

Comfort Zone® products are 95% effective in reducing scratching and urine marking in cats and help reduce destructive chewing and excessive barking in dogs

Comfort Zone® with D.A.P. (Dog appeasing phermones) help to manage excessive barking, destructive digging, chewing and house soiling.

Comfort Zone® with D.A.P. can help to manage stress in dogs due to fireworks, thunderstorms, being left home alone, traveling or a new environment.

VERY easy to use. It reminds me of a scented oil warmer that you buy in the store. You simply unscrew the cap on the Comfort Zone® with D.A.P.® products , screw it onto the warmer and plug into the wall. It works best in the room where your dog spends the most time in. There is absolutely NO scent (at least to human noses!). My first one lasted about 3 weeks before I needed to put a refill in.

Although it is recommended that you use the product for at least 90 days to see the full effect in your pet, I already notice a difference after about a month. Roxi is much calmer when I'm at work--at least I assume she is since she hasn't destroyed a gate or found something to shred in the last several weeks. One of the other dogs, Chester, is scared to death of fireworks and thunderstorms. Terrified to the point of hiding behind the toilet tank. The Sandy storm didn't hit us as bad as some areas, but we have had rain non-stop for 7 days, thunderstorms and 50mph winds. He has done extremely well throughout- never once hiding and only some mild "I don't like this" behavior.

I will be heading to Petsmart to pick up a stock of refills, it really seems to be helping out my dogs.
