My regular readers know that I am dieting with Nutrisystem and loving it, however I am also trying to incorporate my evil elliptical into my routine. I received a pair of Viva HotPants in bright orange. Let's just say these babies are an eye catching color-- like I wouldn't need a reflector if I was biking at night, but that's okay with me! I work out at home and I like that they are a fun color!

So what did I think of them and how do they work?
The texture is a little odd at first, they feel rubbery- kind of what I imagine a wet suit feeling like. I squeezed into mine, I ordered on the smaller size since I want them to fit as I am loosing weight so mine are a bit snug, but that's fine. They held everything in place and went up a bit over the belly button, which I'm happy about. That lower pooch is a problem area for me.

The first time I wore them I just had them on while doing housework for an hour or so. I noticed a definite warm feeling and was amazed at how sweaty I actually was when I took them off. The next time I wore them work out on the elliptical and wowza! I sweated buckets! After just a little more than a week I think I'm already noticing a difference and my tone definitely feels firmer. I'll keep wearing them and take measurements again in another week and see where I'm at. Either way, the sweating is good, since it also rids your body of toxins. I also love that those times I just don't have the extra time to workout, I can put on my Hotpants while I'm doing normal housework and burn extra calories.
