Not the ideal set up for a gal who can barely open her eyes in the morning. This is where Face Case comes in.
Face Case was created by Ms. Sonja Tiencken Byrd-- a southern Belle through and through-- who believes in the feminine tradition of make up but also believed there had to be a better way to carry it around than a zippered bag. Long story short (you can read the details here) she invented the Face Case and through word of mouth eventually couldn't keep up with the demand. She enlisted her niece Bonnie and in 2011 Face Case became an official company.
Now you are wondering what, exactly, is Face Case? Besides awesome? Okay, I'll tell you. Face Case is the most unique cosmetic bag on the market. I have literally never seen anything like it. The Face Case bags are made from a patterned cloth on the outside and reinforced with a black material on the inside. There are various patterns you can choose from and all are striking. The inside of the bag has numerous pockets circling the perimeter which creates a large center area. You can put lipsticks, brushes, eyeliners, mascaras, primers or whatever. The middle will fit your larger eyeshadow pallets and miscellaneous items. It all cinches up with a cord and will sit prettily on a vanity, dresser or even fit in a suitcase. Everything is right in your field of vision, you never forget you have something because it gets buried and did I mention it's pretty? and functional?
I've been using mine for about two weeks and can't imagine living with out it. I have actually now have and extra shelf because all my make up fits in here. I've organized it with the products I use first in a clockwise pattern and it saves my brain dead self a ton of time in the morning. Plus I am so excited for my next trip, instead of trying to sneak makeup into the suit case with out my husband asking why I need so much, I can bring pretty much everything and take up hardly any room.
I honestly cannot tell you how much I love this product and cannot imagine going back to the old mess and disorganization.
