Water Marbling Your Nails

I have no idea how I have not heard of this before today! I've been a nail polish fanatic for more years than I care to count, love my Sally Hansen nail shields and would rather eat nails than have a chipped manicure. So this morning when a friend of my posted a picture of some awesome nails and that she was getting the hang of water marbling, I naturally had to research it.For more information, check out an online college to find cosmetology classes that can teach you the latest when it comes to nail art trends.

When I got off work I gave it a shot. Here is the (very amateur) video I made showing how to Water Marble your nails:

Use a nail correcting pen, or dip the other end of your stick in nail polish remover to clean up cuticles (which I obviously haven't done yet) then apply top coat. Not bad for only the second time!
A couple of recommendations:
1. tape off all of your nails before you start, it is much easier and you won't end up smudging.
2. Use filtered or bottled water. I tried tap water the first time and was SO much easier with bottle water.
3. Use a top coat to seal it when you are done.
4. Have fun! Don't try to hard to do specific or complicated designs until you get the hang of it

This is very cool. I was going to pin it to my Pinterest for future reference but for some reason it wouldn't let me.
