A New Year, A New You. Alpha Hydrox Review
Alpha Hydrox skin care products are truly good for all skin types and ages. They feature alpha hydroxy acids, which exfoliate the skin and help to keep fine lines and wrinkles at bay while evening skin tone, texture and unclogging pores. (I am all for one step items that actually take care of more than one step!) Alpha Hydrox products contain the highest levels of AHAs available without a prescription.
The Alpha Hydrox foaming face wash is soap-free, fragrance free, pH balanced and oil free. It comes out of the bottle almost like gel--but don't let that fool you, once you get it on your wet skin it really lathers well, so only use little! I love that it safely removes my eye make-up with out irritating my sensitive eyes, nor do I have to use a second cleanser just to take that make up off. After cleansing, my face actually feels tighter, but not dry or burning.
The Alpha Hydrox Enhanced Lotion is wonderful. The one I received is for dry skin, which is great because my face is so dry in the winter. It is 10% AHA, pH4 and fragrance free. I love scents in everything but my face products so this is another plus in my book. It also is sort of gel like and a little dab goes a long way. My face feels silky smooth after use and I have already noticed less areas of patchy dry spots. Even after long hours, I can still feel it on my skin. I don't have any wrinkles yet, but I am looking to keep it that way (since I'm officially going to be in my mid 30's gulp!) and this product makes me feel good about that.
