Earth Heart--Travel Calm Review & Giveaway

This is my second time reviewing items from earth heart, and I am extremely happy with the products so far. The first we tried was Canine Calm which I still use quite frequently as the 4th of July is right around the corner and the constant fireworks normally send my poor Chester under the bed to shake and shiver. Canine Calm is definitely helping him out this week and you can read more about it here.

Did you know that June is Pet Safety month? Well it is and even though I am a tad late in posting this, it IS still technically June! We tried out the Travel Calm for the past several weeks and it has really come in handy.

Travel Calm helps to treat the restlessness and tummy upset many dogs experience in a vehicle. It is basically the "souped up" version of Canine Calm and has ginger added to help out the tummy.

Many dogs get queasy or nervous at the sight of a travel crate or vehicle, and can experience restlessness, drooling, panting, whimpering, nausea or vomiting as a result of the anxiety. Testimonials from customers who have been using Travel Calm™ all-natural mist from Earth Heart™ Inc. are finding relief for their dogs and a more positive travel experience for the whole family.

Travel Calm is formulated with all natural ingredients including pure essential oil of ginger, a proven natural remedy for stomach upset. The product is easy to use by misting directly onto a dog’s crate bedding or clothing, inside the car, or rubbed onto their outer ears and abdomen. It won’t stain or leave a sticky residue on materials or fur, and can be used with puppies as young as eight weeks old. Travel Calm is recommended by dog lovers and professionals as a safe and effective natural remedy providing relief to over 95% of dogs who experience restlessness, drooling, panting, whimpering and tummy upset during travel.
Our dogs have a variety of travel issues. You would think the our two oldest would be expert travelers due to the fact that they moved all over the east coast with us when we traveled for work but they aren't. Spike occasionally vomits and Roxi pant--and when I say pants, I mean she pants so hard sometimes I'm scared she's going to pass out or collapse her trachea. Since I frequently take the older two to my mothers place to let them run around the huge yard or suck up to Grandma for some chicken, this can be rough.

I started misting myself with the Travel Calm and letting them s(ha!) sit on my lap to get them used to the smell. When we were ready to go for a ride a couple days later, I went out and sprayed some inside the car before we left, then I came back in the house and rubbed some on their ears and tummies and off we went.
I'm happy to report that Spike did NOT grace me with any gifts that trip and Roxi, while she still panted it wasn't as severe and she was much calmer. And they conned my mom out of treats.

In all honesty, I very much enjoy the scent of this product myself, so that makes it so much easier to use on the dogs.....and perhaps it will help MY road rage. We've never taken all four dogs at one time, although I am saving for a pet friendly vacation this fall so we definitely will be using Canine Calm for that!

BUY IT: You can purchase Travel Calm online . A 2oz bottle will run you $11.98.

WIN IT: Earth heart is going to give on of my readers a bottle to try.

long ago when I had a doggy, he would pant/drool when anxious. It was very rare that he was but when it happened it was a hot mess.
