Holiday Gift Guide-Fantasy Jewelry Box $50 Giveaway

I have been lucky enough to work with Fantasy Jewelry box several times to review their gorgeous jewelry. You can read my review of the Victorian Sapphire Blue Ring or Kandie's Rose Quartz Looking Glass Earrings and see just how much I loved the items I recieved.

Fantasy Jewelry box is one of the leading retailer's of celebrity and designer inspired jewelry. At their site you can find rings, earrings, pendants and more. I can personally vouch that any piece I have ever received from them has been of the highest quality and craftsmanship.

I love wearing jewelry but have princess tastes and a scullery maids wages if you know what I mean. So instead of pining over a super expensive piece I will no way never have, I can poor over Fantasy Jewelry Box's website and find a piece that I love and can afford! Unless you are hanging out with a jeweler I very seriously doubt that anyone could tell it wasn't the real thing!
The Elizabeth Sapphire Blue CZ Wedding Ring Set

This gorgeous set is on sale for $59.95 & Free Shipping!
Sterling Silver Sapphire Blue CZ Heart necklace

This beauty is only $29.95.
I would be absolutely thrilled to open a pretty box on Christmas morning and find either of these inside of it. (both would be better if you are reading this honey)
They even have a line of men's jewelry consisting of rings, earrings, bracelets & necklaces:
Antonio's Satin Finish Triple CZ Stainless Steel Men's Ring $36.95

Fantasy Jewelry Box would make a wonderful gift for any woman or man in your life. Teens to Grandmas, there is something for everyone to love.

WIN IT: Since Fantasy Jewelry Box is so awesome, they are going to award one of my readers a $50 merchandise credit. Now if you choose something for yourself or to gift to a special someone is totally up to
you!

Fawk You Friday

You know it's that time of the week again, time to link up and share our angst! Wayyyyy cheaper than therapy, even cheaper than vodka if you go that route.
BWS tips button

Hosted by the crazy but awesome Jana @Boobies, Babies & a Blog and Christy from I'm Just Sayin

My biggest Fawk you of the week goes out to my ailments.
The acute bronchitis I have been battleing for a freaking week and a half. I never go to the Dr. but last Saturday I felt like I had a cement block on my chest and hauled myself to urgent care. I got a breathing treatment, a shot in the rear and 3 scripts.
One of the reasons I swear I hate going to the Dr is that they give you anitbiotics. I swear the instant I put the first pill in my mouth I start developing a horrid yeast infection. So I knew I had that too look forward too. Then mother nature went ahead and threw the cherry on the "I feel so crappy sundae"-- if you know what I mean.
Oh, and urgent care---$100 copay? are you freaking kidding me?

I may have a sort of reverse fawk you. Kinda.
You may remember a couple weeks back I wanted to kill one of the dogs for rolling in something? Or a couple months ago when my neighbor kept asking if I had seen their cat and I rolled my eyes and said "yeah it was walking on my car this morning" and she said "no the other one".....well hubby is off this week and working on siding the garage (I am soooo sparing you those ugly details for now)..... we had an old shrub that we tore out earlier in the year, I had told him to toss it behind the garage until it was dry enough to burn it. He was pulling it out to burn and well.....I now know what the damn dog rolled in.
Oh! and we found your cat!
Yes, I know I am a sick person for putting a picture of my neighbors skeleton cat on my blog, but blame it on the hubby, he's the one that texted it to me!

Holiday Gift Guide- Miraclebody Jeans- Review & Giveaway

About Miraclebody:
"Since 1937, the makers of Miraclesuit®, the #1 brand designer of control swimwear, have made women look more beautiful and shapely. Miraclebody follows the heritage of Miraclesuit by providing women of all shapes and sizes with comfortable form-flattering fashion control apparel including jeans, tops, skirts, and leggings — all designed to make you look 10lbs lighter in 10 seconds.
At the heart of the Miraclebody brand, is our premium Lycra denim which slims the thighs and lifts the rear while giving you a comfortable fit. Our handcrafted front control panel features our unique miracle fabric, Miratex, to flatten and control the tummy.  Miraclebody signature logo rivets and buttons along with our embroidered signature waistband add the finishing touch. Our premium denim jeans are available in several washes, from faded blue for a casual look to sleek black for a dressier look. Our Miraclebody premium denim gives every women and every body a shapely flawless figure with comfort and style."
With all the styles, shapes, cuts and fits of jeans out there these days, you would think that it would be easy to find the perfect pair. Unfortunately it really isn't! I work in an office where we wear jeans just about every single day and I have the hardest time finding ones that are comfortable, flattering and a quality material. I am a short woman and not as thin as I once and I hate jeans that sit so low they push my stomach up and out and I constantly feel like they are going to fall off! Luckily for me, I got a pair of Miraclebody jeggings in the mail to try out and tell you about!

I wasn't sure what to expect when I found out I would be reviewing the Classic Pocket Denim Leggins. I mean I have seen them in anchor stores in the malls by different brands and they looked more like leggings than jeans. As soon as I opened mine though, I was thrilled. As a matter of fact, I had  to look at the waist band to even tell that they were in fact "jeggings" and not jeans. Mine are a nice, dark denim that flatters and hides any little bumps instead of accenting them. The material stretches and breathes yet still maintains a jean look and consistency. The only way someone else would know you weren't wearing a traditional pair of jeans is if you showed them the waistband.

The waistband itself is a thick band covered in a comfy material that doesn't dig into your skin. I can work at my desk all day without a button, rivet or cheap elastic driving me nuts. I don't know if I look 10lbs slimmer but I do feel as if the slim, skinny fit makes my legs look longer and since they don't "balloon" out in a wide boot cut I feel as if I have slimmer silhouette. Best of all, no muffin top!

These are also extremely versatile. I can wear them to work with a plain shirt and look just fine, be comfy in a long tunic. OR, I can fancy them up with a sexy top and a pair of ankle boots and hit the town. Any woman would be thrilled to find a pair of these wrapped up with a bow! I know I certainly wouldn't mind finding another pair (hint, honey, hint). I absolutely adore my Miraclebody jeggings and would recommend them to anyone who asked...and even people who didn't ask!

Hey, if the jeggings aren't what you are really looking for, don't worry! Miraclebody has a pair of jeans for you, I promise! You can purchase the Samantha in a boot cut with a variety of pocket styles, the Katie straight leg or the Skinnie Minnie!

BUY IT: You can purchase the same pair of Classic Pocket Denim Leggings that I received for $88 HERE.

WIN IT: The amazing Miraclebody is going to give one of my readers a pair of jeans! The winner will be able to choose between the Samantha, the Skinnie Minnie or the Classic Pocket Denim Leggings. (ARV $110)

Holiday Gift Guide-Paperspring Review & Giveaway

Sponsored by Tomoson.com
About Paperspring:
Our Purpose: Paperspring is about sharing and celebrating the important moments in life. In our fast-paced world of e-mail, text messages and other virtual communication, it's still nice to stop for a moment and feel something. The texture of matte paper, the beauty of printed materials, and the portability of paper products make paper a timeless and cherished technology. Our purpose is to bring life to paper and paper to life!
In this crazy world of email, texting and so on, I have to say that there is just something that makes me so happy when I receive a piece of mail that is not a bill. On the other hand, I am super bad at sending mail to people. Last year I didn't mail out Christmas cards until about 5 days before Christmas. So when I had a chance to review some items from Papersrping, I decided to go with personalized Christmas cards.

I got to choose from a nice selection of designs and then add whatever information, sayings or names that I wanted to. I have to say that it was a fun process and I can imagine how much of a joy it would be to open a card that someone had personalized just for me! The cards came very quickly and packaged wonderfully.

You can see above two of the designs I picked out. I choose to put the recipients name on the outside and then have our names on the inside. The card stock is very thick as opposed to the cheap boxed sets you pick up in a department store. I also picked up envelopes to go with them. This year I won't be the last one to mail my holiday cards! I'm too excited for everyone to get them!

Paperspring does more than Christmas cards. You can pick up posters, thank you notes, sticky stock, personalized stationary and more! Anything you pick up from Paperspring is easily personalized to your specifications.

I am extremely happy with my order from them and look forward to picking up more items in the future.
Items like personalized stationary, sticky stock and posters make great gifts and show that you put some thought into what you picked out for the "giftee"!

BUY IT: You can pick up any of the items I mention online at www.paperspring.com

WIN IT: Paperspring is generously offering one of my readers a $50 credit good to anything on their site. Whether you use it for yourself or use it to get a gift for someone, you won't regret it!

Holiday Gift Guide- Burt's Shirts- Review & Giveaway

So. Who is Burt?
Burt is the guy who started the whole business of funny shirts.  Fed up with dull and ordinary clothing he decided he should try and liven things up a little by branding a few cheeky one-liners across his chest. When he wasn’t catching squirrels in his top hat he would be in his shed attempting to print witticisms onto his favourite shirts. At the time many pretended not to appreciate Burt’s shirts but they made him laugh and that’s all that mattered. Gladly times have changed and you can be sure that today’s people will appreciate your shirt just as much as we do.
I will totally admit to being one of the people that happens to love witty, strange and even rude T-Shirts. Anytime I see them I have to stop and read them. So when I got the chance to do a review for Burt's Shirts it was really tough to decide which one of the Funny T-shirts I liked best. As a matter of fact, I had just go ahead and let the hubby pick one or I'd still be trying to narrow it down! Here are a couple we both liked:

Ultimately hubs went with the one to the left and is (grudgingly) modeling for me. I was very impressed overall.

The T-Shirt itself is a nice thick, quality shirt that is going to last a long time. The printing on the shirt is very well done and won't be "pealing" off or smudging.
Burt's Shirts carries kids T-shirts, mens, womens and hoodies. Looking for a larger size and afraid you won't be able to find it? No problem, Burt's Shirts goes all the way up to a men's XXXL....as a matter of fact I'm thinking that would make a really comfy nightshirt!

These shirts would make great Holiday gifts for those people that already have everything, people with a great sense of humor, even that teenage boy you can't figure out WHAT to buy!

BUY IT: You can purchase one of Burt's Shirts for yourself or a gift online HERE

WIN IT: One of my readers is going to win a Funny T-shirt of their choice

Holiday Gift Guide- Conair Infiniti Pro- Review & Giveaway

"Are you ready to take back the power?  Say goodbye to your hair Pro and hello to ours…the new Infiniti Pro by Conair™ 1875-Watt Salon-Performance AC Motor Styling Tool puts salon-performance power in the palm of your hand!  The Infiniti Pro utilizes an AC (alternating current) motor, which is the high-performance motor typically designed for hair stylists and salon use.  However this professional performance tool is 15 percent lighter than most AC motor dryers, making it easy to harness salon power at home."
Design Features & Benefits:
~AC motor means quiet but powerful air velocity, which means faster hair drying & less heat damage
~ AC motor gives a real blast of cold air when you hit the "{Cold Shot" button
~AC motor means a 3x longer life span the a regular DC motor hair dryer
~ Generates neutralizing ions to seal hair cuticle, which in turn reduces frizz & enhances shine.
~3 heat & 2 speed "rocker" switches for heat and airflow control
~Includes 2 concentrator attachments for a variety of styles
~Removable filter prevents lint build up & prolongs life

My opinion:
I normally do not dry my hair. In my experience blow drying my curls just adds frizz and with the thickness of my hair it takes forever with a regular hair dryer. Like a good blogger though, I gave it shot for my readers and was pretty darn impressed. My curls dried with the least amount of frizz I have seen and it dried much quicker than normal. I also noticed that the amount of noise seemed to be quite a bit less than my old hair dryer.
I decided that since my mom has rheumatoid arthritis and often has a hard time drying her hair because she can't hold the dryer, I would let her give it a shot. She said it seems to be a little lighter than her normal dryer, but she actually loves it for other reasons. The slim handle is easier for her to hold, and the rocker switches make it super easy for her stiff fingers to turn it on/off or change heat settings. Oh, and that she thinks the color is hot....I'm pretty sure I'm not getting this one back.

Anyone would be happy to open a gift wrapped box and find the Infinity Pro inside.

BUY IT: The new Infiniti Pro by Conair 1875-Watt Salon-Perfomance Styling tool is available nationwide at mass market and drug stores, as well as online at www.conairdryer.com, for an average retail price of $38.99

WIN IT: One of my readers is going to win their very own Infinity Pro Hairdryer, whether you keep it or gift it, is up to you!
