Dropps Laundry Pacs- Review & Giveaway

About Dropps:

Launched in 2005, Dropps is an innovative liquid detergent packaged in pre-measured,
dissolvable pacs. Its super-concentrated, convenient “toss-and-go” form takes the
mess and confusion out of pouring liquid from giant plastic jugs and makes it superlightweight to handle. Dropps works for all colors, fabrics, temperatures and washers. Its EPA Design for the Environment (DfE) certified formulas are all phosphate-free, enzyme-free and biodegradable, making them as good on the planet as they are on your clothes and skin. Dropps is owned by Cot’n Wash Inc., based in Ardmore, Pennsylvania.

Recently I have been trying new, more Eco Friendly ways to clean my laundry and have been mostly happy with the results. Unfortunately, the hubby is not on board with strange methods of washing clothing. He does his own laundry and is firmly of the school of thought that if it isn't "detergent" it's not getting his clothing clean. So when I had the chance to review Dropps Laundry Detergent pacs I was all over it.

We received a sample of the Fresh Scent pacs to try:

Dropps laundry pacs are tough on dirt, but easy on your favorite garments. Simply toss the pac directly into the washer drum (1 pac = 1 load) and it dissolves completely. Dropps laundry pacs are compatible in HE (High Efficiency) and standard washers. Dropps laundry pacs clean all fabrics and all colors in all temperatures (cold or hot water). The Dropps formula is Phosphate-free, enzyme-free and biodegradable. And, it’s safe for septic tanks and gray water systems. The Dropps Fresh Scent formula is approved by the EPA’s Design for the Environment (DfE) program.

Our Opinion:
The hubby is fussy, doesn't like floral or really strong scents but this one was just perfect. It almost smelled like laundry right off the line and wasn't overpowering. His clothing came out clean and fresh and no fabric softener was needed. I like it because they come in a convenient resealable pouch, I don't have to lug a heavy jug of laundry detergent from the store and then know that the bottle is going to go in a landfill. Another huge bonus is the fact that the dropps pacs are so neat and clean. Hubby is always slopping or dripping detergent and with Dropps I don't have to worry about that and there is no sticky, drippy residue left to irritate me.

We both are happy with Dropps and will be stocking them as a staple for the hubby to use for his laundry!

the 26-load pouch in Fresh Scent and Scent + Dye Free. Dropps can also be purchased online in Fresh Scent, Scent & Dye free & Baby. Sizes vary from a 2-load sample pack ($1.00) all the way up to an 80 load ($24.00) pouch.
